I was privileged enough to be able to see KoRn at the Apollo on November 15. It was the 2nd time i've seen KoRn live and it was probably the best concert I've ever been to. First off, the tickets said 8 but they didnt let us in until about 9. It was freezin out there in Harlem, dude. It was pretty well protected though, the cops wouldnt even let the kids drink.
We finally got in, and at about 9:10, Will Pendarvis from K-Rock came out and gave a little speech. About 1/2 hour later, he came out and threw some t-shirts into the crowd. Then Fred Durst showed up with this really hot blonde. After he showed up, Puff Daddy showed up with Busta Rhymes, and Chris Rock showed up a little later. Matt Pinfield was also with all of them.
At 10 the bagpipes started for "Dead" and it just rocked from there. David came out first, followed by Jonathon. He was in a kilt and like a shirt that goes with it. The place is so friggin tiny. There was maybe 15 rows of seats on the floor, with like 20 seats in each row. It was so sweet. I didnt get a chance to see the balcony because it was above me, but it must be big because the place looks totally different than on tv.
The crowd really got into it, especially during "Wake Up" and "Beg for Me." All in all, I hope KoRn plays with the choir on their next tour because it really adds a depth that makes the music that much better.

I had the privallege to attend the show at the Apollo here in NYC. We braved the cold but the anticipation of seeing Korn Live made the numbness in my toes obsolete. Once inside I couldn't believe how SMALL it was..It was a like a movie theatre. There are no words to describe how Fucking awesome it was seeing them that up close, loud, and showing ''harlem'' how to Rock. They played all 16 songs and they didn't say a word in the end..
Jonathon just came on , did his thing and after the last song just exited stage left. It was like a solem act for him. The vocals were awesome and I got a head trip when the the NYPD bagpipe choir came out to acompany KoRn and the orchestra during their first song Fallen Away from Me. The Highlight of the evening was when I finally got to meet them, which I thought wouldn't happen. Everyone said they left, so on the insistance of another KornKid that I just met that day, wherever you are..Thank You,(you were my good luck charm and if you see this e-mail me), we went to the back entrance of the Apollo.
There was only a handfull of us, and low and behold, Fieldy and Mucky were heading to their limos, I got to meet them, Jonathon, David, but the best part was when everyone left and it was just us two, I guess they forgot about Munk, oh well more KoRn for us.
Munky completed the evening by showing some affection and gave me a hug and a kiss(on the forehead)which such genuine sincerity that it bought tears to my eyes(nearly). He said ''thank you'' and left and there was the end of the greatest night of my life.
P.S Fred Durst, John Otto showed up..but it was no big shit. They had a balcony seat right above my head. Chris Rock was also there and so was Bust Rhymes..I heard Puff Daddy showed up.

I just got home from the airport. I was in New York for the weekend just to see Korn on Monday. We had fifth row center orchestra and it was so awesome to see them in such close quarters for a change. It seemed very personal, like seeing them in a club. I must say that I was disappointed that the NYPD Pipes and Drums band did not play with Korn for longer (though I found out the reason later was that the stage was not big enough for everyone as they once thought it would be). Also, Jonathan's vocals were way too low, it was nearly impossible to hear him when the band was jamming.
With the negative said and outta the way, even on such a cramped stage, Korn played with that same energy, the crowd and the band thriving off each other, making it SO annoying to have seats in our way! When we could hear Jonathan's voice, it was beautiful and sounded great as ever. Jon left the sequins at home and wore true Scottish garb this time around. It seemed fitting because Issues seems to be a more serious album than others. More mature maybe.
Backstage (besides the celebrities forementioned by other attendies) we also saw Matt Pinfield (sp?) from MTV and Limp Bizkit's album. We then attended a private party at a bar in NYC with both Korn and LB. Both bands were extremely gracious and fun to be around.
Well, kids, going to NY was definitely worth it, despite the amount I had to pay to the greedy fuckers on ebay (and not mention the plane tickets). I love that band so much, thank god they are back! I have missed them so much!
